Set on the waterfront in Minyama, this architecturally designed three-level residence spans more than 1,200 square metres, defined by extraordinary scale, soaring volumes and an extensive use of natural stone throughout.
Internally, dramatic voids reaching up to eight metres create a powerful sense of space, while a restrained palette of stone, warm timber and soft neutral finishes brings warmth and balance to the home’s monumental proportions. Natural stone is treated as the hero material of the residence, extending beyond conventional surfaces to become an integral part of the architecture.
Elba Dolomite establishes this material language from the moment of arrival, with the entry floor finished entirely in stone to create an immediate sense of luxury underfoot. The material continues into the kitchen, where it is used extensively across benchtops, full-height surfaces and a substantial island detailed with oversized stone fluting. The result is a sculptural centrepiece that celebrates both the natural movement of the stone and the craftsmanship of its fabrication.
Superwhite Dolomite is reserved for the master suite and powder room, including bespoke full-stone vanities designed and supplied by Natural Stone Co., while Tundra Limestone brings a quieter, timeless character to the home’s additional bathrooms. Together, the three stones create a considered material hierarchy, allowing individual spaces to develop their own identity while maintaining continuity throughout the residence.
